The Variatic Multium is a 4HP expander for the Variatic Sequent, and provides CV inputs for each of the trigger locations and features trigger outputs for each channel. This means one can patch up to four different drum sounds. It draws current through the Variatic Sequent so it won't take up any extra headers within your case :)
